Lummi Island Crabbing 3-day

Lummi Island Crabbing Adventure

August 21-23, 2026
$975-$995 per person

Lummi Island is one the the closest islands in the San Juan chain to the Mainland, yet one of the most undeveloped. Join us for a curated food-focused weekend unique to Lummi Island. You’ll experience secluded beaches, a full day of Dungeness crabbing instruction and pot-pulling, a private charter to Sucia Island, lodging with breathtaking views and a special Lummi Island crab boil on the beach.

All seafood is very important to the San Juans and Lummi specifically. Outside of crabbing, Lummi Island boasts one of the only reef-net salmon fisheries in Washington. Join us for an unforgettable late summer getaway on Lummi Island playing on the water and celebrating the Dungeness.

Crabbing in the Salish Sea around the San Juan Islands is a quintessential Northwest pastime, where cold, clean waters and shifting tides create ideal habitat for Dungeness and red rock crab. With sheltered coves and abundant shoreline, dropping pots at dawn often yields a rewarding catch—and a timeless connection to the islands.
