Vashon Island Night Kayaking & Campout 2026

August 28th-30th, 2026
$450 per person

Camping on a flower farm, night kayaking, searching for bioluminescence, lunch on a farm, cider tasting, farm stand hopping, juicy fruit, backyard suppers, guided hiking, chef-prepared dinners, beach picnics, beautiful vistas, Mount Rainier, prepared breakfast, lawn games, flower farms, and lots and lots of beaches.

Does this sound like summer camp? We couldn’t help but notice the similarities…I mean, we’ll be close to a beach so…

Our campground is on private land surrounded by flowers sold at market. There is an outdoor shower, composting toilet, fire pit, happy chickens and a gentle farm dog, all walking distance from Vashon downtown and a short drive from the beach.

Need a tent? We have 2 person a-frame tents for you to rent for $50
Need a ride from the ferry? We’ll pick ya up!
We kept the price low to get all the campers and kayakers we can for this festive weekend. Let’s party.

In the summer, Quartermaster Harbor on Vashon Island offers the magical possibility of bioluminescence shimmering beneath the surface, especially on warm, calm nights. Tiny plankton can ignite the water with streaks of blue-green light, and during a moon jellyfish bloom, their gentle pulses drift through the harbor like glowing, translucent lanterns—turning an ordinary evening paddle into something quietly unforgettable.

We will notify you immediately if we have trouble booking the trip.
